Wooohooo.... When will it ever stop. Today was the best day so far from this easterly wind we've been having. Fourth day in a row on the water and today it was howling!!!
I started off with my wave board and 4m but that was far too much so changed down to the 3.4m which wasn't great either, but I think much of this was due to the manic chop making things difficult. I swapped back to the 4m as the sail is better and as the tide dropped and the water flattened out it became REALLY good, the wind eased off a little too though so I had to change up to my 4.5m

The mad winds tore the fishing boat that has been moored in the estuary from its anchor so I had to avoid that and call the coastguard before it got washed out to sea and then back to the serious task of getting some speed runs in.. Max speed today was 33.2 knots, and another run of 32.8 knots, not bad considering I was on my wave board which still has a poorly sanded lump of resin stuck to its tail.

Good old Ivor!
